Neville & Gemma's Wedding

I love weddings, drink is flowing, everyone is happy and in the best of moods. I haven't been to that many so they are still a fun novelty for me. This particular wedding took place at The Bedford Swan, between Neville, my old school friend and his long term girlfriend, Gemma.

I must confess, I have a bit of an obsession with wedding photos, swiftly trawling the random albums that someone I know has been tagged in at any chance I get. What the dress looks like, colour schemes, the cake, the setting. If there are professional photos up, even better, as I can see how the professionals compose their wedding shots. Usually, the ones that look the best to me are photos that aren't too 'posed', in my own photography, I prefer taking natural shots that show true emotion.

Below are some of my favourites from the day and I also made a little slide show video of the day I spent at the wedding to the song Gemma came down the aisle to and their first dance song
'Tying the knot'

An Award Winning Pork Pie

Walking down the high street in Oakham, we wondered across Leeson Family Butchers with award winning pork pies and sausage rolls. Their Melton Mowbray pork pie won gold in the 2009 British Pie Awards in the Melton Mowbray class. Oakham is the right next to Melton Mowbray, the home of the pork pies of the same name, what a traditional British pie.

Pork pies are usually eaten cold, I like mine with a salad.
