Forever Young

Stockwood Discovery Centre, a place to 'discover', with a selection of outside gardens, a transport museum, part of Luton's culture scene. Entry to the centre is free and it's easy to find, right off junction ten of the M1. In the middle of winter the variety of different gardens were a little dead looking, I did like the random pieces of artwork displayed in among the plants around the gardens.

Most of the green houses were closed apart from the one showing a display about bees. There was a fantastic outdoor play area that was a perfect setting for a little sisterly photo shoot and the tea room was open.

Would highly recommend this place to visit in the spring or summer and if you have young children. Saying that, if we had gone in the summer the play area would have been too over run with children, we wouldn't have got a look in on any of the play things. Winter visits - a blessing in disguise if you're a big kid at heart.
